The Executive Committee of the board invites you to participate in a Program Content Planning Event on Tuesday, March 19.
Delivering a robust calendar of programming and events is one of CFE's three strategic initiatives. Collectively, through all of our diverse perspectives, expertise, and resources, we hope to establish a pipeline of content that will jump-start the efforts of the newly formed programming committee. Bring your speaker, topic, and venue ideas to share, and we will provide the coffee and pastries.
We will need a sense of attendance for refreshments and the security list, so please RSVP. We hope you will join us even if you cannot attend the entire time.
If you are unable to attend but have ideas to share, please email Kathy Hosty at khosty@muellersolutions.com
The Downtown Book Club will meet at Volo Wine Bar on Wednesday, April 10 for dinner and a social discussion on the book, The Glass Hotel.
About the Book: In this captivating story of crisis and survival, Emily St. John Mandel takes readers through often hidden landscapes: campgrounds for the near-homeless, underground electronica clubs, service in luxury hotels, and life in a federal prison. Rife with unexpected beauty, The Glass Hotel is a captivating portrait of greed and guilt, love and delusion, ghosts and unintended consequences, and the infinite ways we search for meaning in our lives.
Come out for a private social event at Maria Pinto's studio. Enjoy drinks and light appetizers with your CFE friends while shopping her Spring collection. 10% of proceeds from sales at the event will be donated to Ladder up, one CFE's Giving Back Exchange philanthropic partners.
