The Leadership & Professional Development Exchange invite you to a luncheon program hosted by the Chicago Club on the topic of Crisis and Conflict Communication for Business Leaders, featuring speaker Phil Andrew.

Phil Andrew is Principal of PAX Group and has over 21 years of experience as a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He’s served throughout the Midwest, New York and overseas with expertise in crisis negotiation, undercover work, counterterrorism, national security, violence prevention, crimes against children, and social media. He gained notoriety on May 20, 1988 when he was shot by Laurie Dann in his parent’s home in Winnetka over summer break from UIUC.

He has deployed regularly on domestic and international kidnappings/hostage takings and has received numerous FBI and Department of Justice Awards.  Phil has a unique personal story of resilience and survival to motivate individuals and organizations to engage is positive and effective ways. He was previously an instructor at the FBI Academy as an expert in crisis management, negotiation, behavior analysis and undercover investigations and has presented and trained clients globally.

Prior to the FBI, Phil practiced law in Chicago and managed a violence prevention organization. He is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law and the University of Illinois, which he attended on an athletic scholarship and twice captained the Illini Swim Team. Phil is a recipient of a U.S. House of Representatives Award for Outstanding Courage and Heroism, an Illinois State Bar Association Service Award and is an inductee into Loyola Academy's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Casual or athletic footwear, such as flip-flops and sneakers, are not permitted. Denims, shorts, tee shirts, tube tops, flip flops, and athletic shoes are not permitted at any time.
