Pizza Party with Steve Dolinsky

Join CFE for a Pizza Party hosted by Steve Dolinsky, Chicago-based food reporter and 13-time James Beard Award-winning food journalist. Steve knows more about pizza than just about anyone. As our host, Steve will arrange for one of his favorite deep-dish pizzas to be delivered on the afternoon of the event. Then he’ll lead an interactive discussion of the history of deep-dish, the origin, ties to Chicago, and special characteristics.

Formerly seen on Chicago’s WLS-TV (ABC 7) as the “Hungry Hound," Steve has contributed food reports to Public Radio International’s daily program The World, The Chicago Tribune and Canada’s Globe and Mail. He is the Host & Producer of the Pizza City podcast, Co-Founder of Pizza City USA Tours in Chicago and a regional Academy Chair for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. He has won thirteen James Beard Awards for his TV, radio and podcast work.
