Laura Stern is a Principal in the Chicago office of Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth, a wealth management firm specializing in high net worth individuals and multi-generational families.   Her expertise as an investment advisor developed over a career of more than 30 years, including roles in portfolio management and investment consulting.  Previously, Laura worked for almost 12 years at Prudential Retirement Services as Vice President in the Investment Advisory Services unit. Prior to joining Prudential, Laura founded an asset management firm servicing high net worth individuals, foundations and pension plans in Rochester NY.  A Chartered Financial Analyst and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Laura earned an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA with honors from the University of Chicago. An active member of CFA Society of Chicago, she served as a board member 1998-2004 and Chair in 2002-2003.  Laura has also served the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago since 2007, formerly as Chair of the Retirement Sub-Committee, now as member of the Finance Committee.  A board member of VNA Foundation since 2013, Laura currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committee, and was elected in 2019 to the Executive Committee as Vice Chair.
