2020 Capital Markets Update - Breakfast

The Finance and Investments Exchange invites you to join us for breakfast as Karim Ahamed, Partner and Investment Advisor in the Chicago office of Cerity Partners, discusses the 2020 Economic and Market Outlook, with a focus on risks and opportunities in the financial markets.

Speaker Bio:
Karim is a Partner and Investment Advisor in the Chicago office of Cerity Partners.  In that role, he provides investment advisory and wealth management services to affluent families, corporate executives, business owners and charitable organizations.  Karim is a member of the Investment Management Committee, leads the Manager Selection Committee and authors the firm’s annual Economic Outlook.  In his role as investment strategist, he works to identify key investment themes and trends and to develop and implement the appropriate strategic and tactical positioning for client portfolios. 

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Karim was a Managing Director and Senior Investment Specialist with J.P. Morgan Private Banking.  Earlier in his career, he held senior investment and wealth management positions with Coutts & Co and UBS AG in the UK.

Karim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William & Mary and his Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Chicago and CFA Society of the UK..
